Compensation Limits

As usual, an annual increase in financial compensation and jurisdiction limits for the Employment Tribunals has come into effect, from 1st February, 2002. The revised limits have effect where the 'appropriate date' falls on or after 1st February, 2002. In the Table below, we have set out: a description of the statutory provision; the 'old' limits (applying from 1st February, 2001, to 31st January, 2002); the new limit; and a description of the 'appropriate date' for the particular right.
